Haven't posted for ages! Here is the current state of my shelves, room is all done too!
Master chief premium format has shipped and I should have him on Thursday, by all accounts he is a beast of enormous magnitude.

I dust em every couple of weeks lol. I know all their nooks and crannies......that sounds weird.
Yeah having em boxed up sucks. You gonna have a collection room in your new house tho mate?

Still don't know yet. Maybe have a couple in glass cabinets in various rooms. If I go with a theatre room, maybe set up some shelves in there. I'm still about a year away from building, plenty of time to get ideas from other collectors setups, your setup looks like it works well.

Re: Mechs toys
Thanks mate, checked my closest one yesterday & was able to get one. They didn't have a bag big enough, so was funny walking around holding it & seeing the young kids eyes buldge out of their heads when they see the boxGeneral Chaos wrote:$148 at BigW. Can check their website for local stock level.

Re: Mechs toys
With regards to metroplex the sale went off and he went back up to $199 again at the aspley hypermarket. (just rang them up then) They also sold out of Masterpiece Acid Storm too. Oh well it gives me time to save up for overpriced macross mecha.
Usually anything MP I will miss out on. But at least they still have at least 2 Metroplex for desperate people.
there is one other TF figure I am hunting for:
So far all I see on shelves are TF prime Beast Hunters stuff. I bought the Dragon (the big version) and don't see myself buying other figures in this line to be honest. I want sandstorm. I am a sucker for triplechangers. Especially f all modes look good like this guy. Missed out on Generations Springer.
If I see blitzwing I am tempted to buy it (fighter mode looks so much like the legioss lol) but reviews are saying it is badly designed.

For those of you who still collect old figures you should check out this guy's youtube channel where he has dug up a lot of the old g1 original music. One of my faves is this one:
Cartoons of today are so inferior.
Do we get cool battle themes like this anymore?

Re: Mechs toys
That's awesome!
It would be cool if it came with different Doc and Martys though. BttF3 versions would be cool.

I've been so tempted to get a new model Metroplex, purely to re-enact that photo. The new one is massive!General Chaos wrote:Nice one! I picked one up too.

Saw one at a dodgy local toy store for $149 too so I was very tempted.
