Breaking Bad is over. Everyone is Dead including Sculli.
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
The writers probably need the six months to work out how to tie up all the story threads.

I'll bet money this series will end badly for Walt.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
He's pretty much the villain now. We know he survives another year from the flash forward in episode 501. But he's armed and carrying false i.d and you might have noticed, taking medication which may mean he's no longer in remission. It definitely looks like a final stand.
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I'm loving this latest season as I have most of the previous ones, but every season I'm finding it tougher and tougher to give one iota of shit about Walter and his plight. He is nothing but a greedy, smug cunt chasing pride for past transgressions and manipulates and puts everyone else in to danger for his own ends. I secretly root for him in the scenes where he's pushing danger and his luck, but most of the time that's because they paint whoever he is opposing as more evil than he is. Gripping stuff though.

I think that's completely the point. It's almost impossible to empathise with Walt now and he's dragging everyone down with him.
Also, in the latest episode, I was in complete hysterics at the dinner scene. Jesse was hilarious. Nice change to being completely on the edge of your seat.

I feel quite differently. It's not often we get a show this good. Waiting won't kill off the audience. I've enjoyed watching this show from episode to episode, season to season. I've actually enjoyed not being able to smash episodes. I like the idea of having more Breaking Bad to look forward to next year.GreyWizzard wrote:Fuck sake...
I love it when a tightly written story is split in two. It really heightens the story when I have to wait 6+ months to read the second half of a sentence.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
It was really good shopping on Skylar's behalf.
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
That was a funny scene, and funny's about all I can hope for when Skyler's onscreen these days. The dead drop was awesome.
I find it hard to accept that none of the other characters noticed the spider jar wasn't there when they were disposing of the evidence. Jesse, maybe not because he was so freaked out by the whole ordeal, but it seemed a huge oversight for Walt and Mike. It's not the sort of thing you'd forget, particularly when they were otherwise being so thorough.

Haha, I was going to mention this too, I laughed a few times from Jesses body language, especially when Skylar started talking about her affair and shit. Great scene.Cletus wrote:I think that's completely the point. It's almost impossible to empathise with Walt now and he's dragging everyone down with him.

Damn you Walt!
Also, I wonder when this 'evidence' from the first ep will surface, you know, the one from the back of the photo frame after all the stuff in the evidence room got trashed from that magnet.

Wasn't that the account numbers that they froze and forced Mike to come up with alternative ways to pay his guys to keep quiet?t0mby wrote:Damn you Walt!

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I think I said "Fuck you Walt" to the television three times during that episode.
And that was well before we got to the final scene.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
Fuck, I somehow forgot the latest ep was out and just read Cletus's's's full post. Sucks to cop a spoiler (that's my fault), but not as much as that particular spoiler sucks!

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I hear ya, I read this thread before I saw Episode 5 regarding the train inicident (not mentioning details since Bruce has just started this season) and of course the tension wasn't quite there for me in the end, although the ending really stabbed my emotion control room.

I'm so careful about not entering this thread unless I'm up to date. And to be honest I rarely hide any of my comments because this is the season 5 thread where season 5 should be openly discussed. You just can't afford to wander in here a week behind.

That episode was ace.
Ever since the first episode I had my suspicions they were taking Walt down the Michael Corleone arc.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I wasn't berating you. My point was that, yes, a spoiler like that would have been a bad one to cop. Kind of like being shot in your car with your own gun and managing to drive off a small distance, crash and slink off into some tall grass to die. That's how bad a spoiler like that would have been.Gamma wrote:Like I said, my bad. Just watched it then. Sad face.
