Broncos vs Storm full-strength for trial in Tassie, would be pretty cool to watch. Storm have done a great job down there seeing kids in school, 5000 tickets have been sold. Good on them, the AFL disgustingly ignore them.

I am going to the game. Glad they are picking full strength teams. Should be good!

Don't get to really see NRL in person since most of my sporting trips are to melb and I end up watching GAYFL.

Haha lolz. Good on both teams for trying to put on a show. Chaos you'll find that NRL is better viewed on tv in most cases, especially since AFL is the opposite. I can't see tassie putting up an atmosphere that is the shit.

Yeah I figured that would be the case due to the nature of the games and camera coverage.

Atmosphere will be pretty tame you would think I don't mind as long as they put on a show.

No trial match is cool to watch. Nothing on the line = not worth it.

yeah but when it's in a place where NRL is never played it's as good as it'll get, you can see some great attack in trial games, just not as much of the hard stuff.

Good on the 2 teams for playing there, 5000 tickets sold is a good result.

What to tasmaniac's think of melbourne though? any hatred there? or are you still the bit of victoria that broke off?

Can't say I'm a fan of the new away jerseys. Understand why they've changed the colours, but think the 'yellow' should be more of a gold and maroon needs to be maroon, not bloody purple.

I also don't like the current design, no idea what the patch on the upper chest is meant to represent (I know it's a different material but no need for the dolour change). I really think we need the white stripes back.

Good times. Also what purple? It was yellow and maroon if it was purple they would look like the Lakers.

Highlight of the game was the uncontested streaker who got on the field stayed there then got back off successfully. No security to be seen.

If you look at the current shade of 'maroon', it's a lot closer to purple than the older maroon they have used.

I hope so. Playing a meaningless game and getting hurt, these games are too risky for their own good.

The season is so long that pre-season doesn't mean a great deal. As we've seen so many times teams get hot late in the season anyway.
