Walt's a cunt and has been for a while, lucky Jesse gave him that watch with the miniature cuckoo bird that will jump out at a predetermined time and peck him with some ricin.

It took me a couple of seconds to realise what it was.
Also, when Walter said that I didn't know whether I should be laughing or crying.Just the realisation and Mike sitting there...

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
One more episode and I'm ready for a 12 month break. With what's already gone on, it feels like I've watched a full season anyway. It's one episode less than the first season. Bring on the break!

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
Maybe it's nine months. Either way it's a huge break between the season. The second half is scheduled for their summer 2013.

Are they allowed to do that? I mean, it's not like some viral advertising campaign leading up to something. Is it supposed to invoke emotions and shit or have a message that Walt fucks up the lives of everybody he meets?GreyWizzard wrote:https://twitter.com/kayleeehrms

Get!
This is it people. The half way mark. What an amazing episode and I haven't even seen it yet.
10 out of 10. I'll post why when I've watched it.
Season 5 Episode 8 will be discussed from this point. Beware of Spoilers!

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 RIP JESSE AND WALT JR
Alright seriously it's definitely a spoiler laden post ahead.
I said to Juz and Lepo that I thought the outcome would be that Hank would eventually catch on to Walt this season. He had to. It would be too unbelievable for him not to. It's taken him over a year to get there but here we are. I wondered if Hank would do his job which would ultimately destroy his career and I think he will. I assume he gives Walt a ten minute head start which is why we get the flash forward at the start of the season. The other thing I thought might happen was Walt and Jessie would go head to head. It's my belief that only Jessie and Skyler come out alive but of course it's a guess. I'd say every scene in every episode where Hank and Marie are with Walt's family has made me nervous. The scenes were meant to. But coming to the end of the series I knew this particular gathering was going to be the one where it clicks for Hank.
A lot happened in this episode. I assume by the punched in towel holder that the cancer is back. Jessie is paid. Walt is out. Mike's men are dead. Overseas distribution. Hank is finally onto Walt.
I could almost like Walt again for paying Jessie.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 RIP JESSE AND WALT JR
I don't think anyone saw that ending coming. I know we say that a lot about a lot of episodes, but this was a little different. Something from many episodes ago (Was it Season 3?) that even I had forgotten about. But now, Hank will be piecing together WW + GB * Chemist + Lots of Money etc etc.
Man, fuck those guys for splitting this into two seasons. Should've gone out with a bang and treated the fans to one long season, especially all the hiccups before with the writers strikes, Cranstons acting timetable....
Next summer, pffft. I wonder if it will still be referred to as Season 5 but Part 2.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 RIP JESSE AND WALT JR
Just finished that ep. I hate when people use the word 'epic', but this series definately fits the bill!
I'm guessing the cancer is back again too and it was good to see Walt leave something for Jesse. I'm hoping Walt just pays off Hank and they can all live happily ever after...not gonna happen though.

When Walt was looking for something to read, I thought he would come across some of Walt's reading material about the physicist Heisenberg.

By Walt I assume you mean Hank, and by Walt's I assume you mean Walt's.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 RIP JESSE AND WALT JR
I'm starting to think that maybe Hank can't do anything about what he knows. If Hank takes down Walt, he takes down Skyler. He also implicates himself and Marie because they've taken money for Hank's rehab.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
I saw this on GAF:
I saw this on GAF:
There was an article about how Walt keeps a memento, often a food characteristic, from the deaths he feels responsible for. I can't find the article, which is a shame, because I can't remember all things mentioned. Anyhow:
He cuts the crust off his sandwiches, ala Krazy 8.
He keeps the eyeball of the bear from the plane crash.
He keeps the Leaves of Grass gift from Gale.
He affects the demeanor of Gus.
He takes his drinks on the rocks, ala Mike.
There was a food item for Tuco and a few others as well. But the most exciting one was a theory:

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 RIP JESSE AND WALT JR
I said this to Lepo last night. When he was in the hotel room discussing the ten man hit with the AB and looking at the picture on the wall (I'd forgotten that same picture is in the hospital), I thought he completely took on Gus' demeanour. I hadn't noticed the other things. That hidden theory is very interesting.
