Watched Blood & Chrome last night. Grittier than the series. Was awesome. Worth giving it a crack.

Re: Battlestar Galactica (Unmarked Spoilers, so go watch AS
Currently my third attempt at watching the show since it first aired 9 years ago. Never got past season 1 for various reasons but am now halfway through season 2. Pegasus is in the fleet, the black market has been discovered and Scar has just been destroyed.
Only thing I am not liking, and it is only a niggle, is how the last few episodes have started at a part near the end of the episode then it suddenly flashes back to '96 hours earlier'. Aside from that though, feels good to finally be able to watch this series after all this time.

It gets even better. Season 3 is where it really kicks into a higher gear.
Make sure you watch Razor between seasons 3 and 4 though.
We just finished watching it a month ago and it has aged incredibly well plus with each time I've seen the series you notice even more stuff. I've seen the series 4 times now.

I think I have Razor, I'll check when I get home.
Also, does it ever explain why Gaius has these vivid hallucinations?

Just keep watching. If you've avoided the open spoilers in this thread just keep on going. I just skipped this thread until I finished the series.

Just don't watch the last episode. Everything else was brilliant.

I found the bulk of season 4 kind of dulling. I liked the last few eps though...

Season 4 certainly had a different feel to it. It was rather depressing at times but there were some great revelations in there too.
I think Season 4 is my fave. As for the final episode... I think you have to ask yourself.. how would you have ended a show? Not a lot of options plus I think given what they did.. it made sense.. compared to some of the other decisions in the show at least
It is what it is.. and I think that it really left me pondering.. Watching The Plan afterwards was cool too.
Stupid me forgot to ask Katee Sackoff what the ending meant when I met her too. Doh.

Wait until you see Apollo's hair in season 4. It's out of control.

I'll just leave this here. Stumbled across it last night, was submitted in '99.

The original Battlestar was so far ahead of it's time, it's not funny. So many fond memories. If I'd have seen that video when I was a kid, I would've wet my pants over and over again.

I love how much Richard Hatch's name comes me up in those credits.
