When smoked that is. One of my worst ever drug experiences, legal or illicit, was cookies. Talk about unregulated and not knowing amounts. Worst feeling ever.

Can't argue there. It can't kill you but it can make you feel like it might though.

Re: PSH RIP
Having said that a joint at the end of a bender weekend is most complimentary.
Re: PSH RIP
Not if you vape bro, but totally understand not liking the effects.

Funny thing about cookies too, you can tell someone that they're strong. They never listen and Always shrug off advice. Then with no tolerance have a whole cookie they were told is dynamite. Then they want to know if it was laced with LSD or something hilarious.
Cookies tend to be more hardcore than a vapouriser or a joint. Digesting dope over hours is a long ride.

Weed can totally make you feel like you're going to die.
It's like 'You wanna die tonight, you wanna die tonight? .. Haha psyche.'
Re: GHB it sounds like it's like a souped up alcohol.
Joe Rogan Experience regular Tom Segura has a harrowing story about being stupid with GHB

Really? Heroin? I was aware of cocaine supposedly being rife, but not heroin. I'm not subjected to the drugs underworld though. I'm in my own bubble.Peppermint Lounge wrote:It's just another drug. That's just the impression I was under, you and pep seem a lot more well versed in the drugs scene than I am.
Also I didn't realise meth was the same as ice which pretty much underlines how little I know about the drugs scene.

Oh how fine a line though. Recreational heroin use takes nothing to turn into a full blown filthy addiction.

Yep.
Next item on our agenda is Ian Thorpe.
Poor bugger...super wealthy, healthy, well respected, world is his oyster so obviously he's suicidal.
Just come out of the closet. We all know already. Dress in drag and set yourself free.

I don't know how large a bag of heroin is, but they found 50 of them at PSH's house.

"Moaning, between head jobs, rock stars say they're so depressed -
They should try out a real job and a boss that's not impressed;
If it's so fucking hard being young, beautiful and rich
Come on down the office, cockhead, I'd be glad for us to switch:"

Was REALLY hoping that Peter Helliar was dead.
Meanwhile.. Ian Thorpe just needs to accept that no one cares if he is gay.. in fact - we'd respect him so much more if he just came out already.

I don't know either PC.
Someone told me he's in the latest Hunger Games movie - not the first one though. Still doesn't make sense why it's such huge news.

Re: PSH RIP
Here we go off wiki:
Can honestly say I've never seen any of them except Big Lebowski. And I don't remember him in that.Hoffman began his acting career in 1991, and the following year he began to appear in films. He gained recognition for his supporting work in a series of notable films, including Scent of a Woman (1992), Twister (1996), Boogie Nights (1997), The Big Lebowski (1998), Patch Adams (1998), Magnolia (1999), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Almost Famous (2000), Red Dragon (2002), 25th Hour (2002), Punch-Drunk Love (2002) and Cold Mountain (2003).
In 2005, Hoffman played the title role in Capote, for which he won multiple acting awards including the Oscar for best actor. His three other Academy Award nominations came for his supporting work in Charlie Wilson's War (2007), Doubt (2008) and The Master (2012). Other critically acclaimed films in his later years included Owning Mahowny (2003), Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007), The Savages (2007), Synecdoche, New York (2008), Moneyball (2011) and The Ides of March (2011). In 2010, Hoffman made his feature film directorial debut with Jack Goes Boating.
