RIP Robin Williams
Why is it that these actors kill themselves?
Such a sad loss.

Re: RIP Robin Williams
I'm so fucking crushed! One of the truly talented actors of our generation. I'm constantly inspired by his films such as Dead Poets Society and Patch Adam.
Depression is a total bitch! The signs are often subtle and we often missed them.

Very sad news, I've enjoyed his wonderful talent to make us laugh and entertain for decades, my heart sank when I heard the news. RIP Robin Williams.

I didn't enjoy his films but I loved his stand up and interviews. Rip.

Re: RIP Robin Williams
I only liked him in serious movies.. which.. well.. weren't many.
What Dreams May Come is probably my favourite movie of his.
He was waaaaay too intense for my liking.. and when you now consider what has happened.. it does in a way make sense.

Oh hell!!! The World According To Garp is one of my all time favourite films. Robin Williams is so on point it isn't funny.
That's my favourite Robin Williams film.

My Mork doll with egg space capsule was stolen from my schoolbag when I was a little kid. Broke my heart. Years later the same thing happened to my Atari cart of River Raid.
Re: RIP Robin Williams
Oh crap, this is fucked. It's the first time he hasn't made me laugh.

Oh god he was intense. Any interview quickly became a monologue of him yelling jokes. Still, I found it amusing.GeneraL CyberFunK wrote:I only liked him in serious movies.. which.. well.. weren't many.

Re: RIP Robin Williams
We saw that again just recently. It's a really terrible film with awful dialogue and a passable plot, but several times Williams single-handedly drags it up to the point of being watchable and even enjoyable. The man was an onion of talent.GreyWizzard wrote:His performance in The Fisher King is first rate.

I'm gonna come clean and admit I never liked the guy or his movies, but I understand why people like him. (I remember watching Mork and Mindy with my folks when I was a kid btw).
My wife, she's a huge fan.

^ This film is one of her favourites, and if you don't know it, you're not really a Robin Williams fan then are you?GeneraL CyberFunK wrote:What Dreams May Come is probably my favourite movie of his.

Which is odd because the Funk says he's not really a fan either.
