The issue here is people see their collections as personal, forcing something into their collection without their consent leaves a bad taste. They could of avoided this by just making the album free to download if you choose.

Yep, my iDevices remain Bono-free. It just adds the album to your account, you're not forced to download it. Still, I would have much preferred a sneaky tub girl lock screen.

Yeah this thread made me look. U2 in my album list which is mildly jarring. More jarring is my genre list now includes a Rock section.

There early stuff is decent and I don't mind(80s). But the whole shift change in their music when Bono got upset cause people would clear the dance floor when a U2 song was played. So he wanted to make their music more Disco friendly. Seriously that is taking your music to a whole new low...
