It was until the Cowboys scored literally on the siren in the Grand Final.

Nah the try of the year was easily the Warriors try with a backflip offload from Nathan Friend. It doesn't get better than this:

Backflip
No look flick pass
Try scored in the corner with no room to move.

Just freakish.

That was awesome, I'm more in awe of the finish than the backflip though.

For me it's the backflip that puts it into a class of its own. Such a freakish offload even though it was purely luck that he got it so perfectly timed. Throw in a bit of magic afterwards and it's a great try either way. But without that backflip it's just a try of the round sort of deal. Not try of the year.

Probably not the Panthers best, but my favorite from us was this one:

Bryce Cartwright just destroyed the Rabbitohs pack in this game. Making easy metres with every run, busting tackles, getting away offloads and just looking like he was playing against a bunch of kids with all the shit he was trying and pulling off. This try was also scored on the last tackle after starting the set off on our own line pretty much and having made only 20/30 metres in the first few tackles. Looking as though we would be kicking from deep inside our half.

If you're bored there's some pretty good stuff in that video from 2015. Cartwright is easily going to be the best forward we have developed since Pritchard. I think he will be a lot better than him aswell. But that mostly depends on his consistency.
