You can still get the two piece feed in WA too. It's not on the menu but you can order it and even the 14 year old trainees behind the counter don't bat an eyelid.Megaman wrote:Shit, you're right, I checked the website and Qld gets a two piece feed while the rest of us fat fucks get three. It's probably for the best.GreyWizzard wrote:You can still get a two piece feed, they just call it the two piece box. At least in QLD they do.
Our lame version of those American secret menus I hear so much about I guess

Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
Nobody (in fast food, at least) can hold a candle to KFC chips, IMO. Although there's a restaurant near me that makes the most exquisite chips ever, and I totally got the recipe:
Bake whole potato with skin in oven for no less than two hours.
Cut potatoes into chips.
Deep fry.
Serve, lightly salted.
Depending on the variety, and how long they were baked for, the resultant chips can be really sweet.

What about Grill'd chips? Or Nandos chips? (KFC chips are pretty good too) But then KFC chips sometimes they are totally under cooked, have you ever noticed that?

Never noticed that. I've only noticed them soggy if I take too long to get my grubby hands on them.
+1 for KFC chips being the best in the land.

Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
KFC has the best chip seasoning without a doubt, I'll give them that. I've become quite a big fan of sweet potato chips lately, and man, so many places fuck them up, or pretend they're so incredibly gourmet that it's ok to charge ~$5 for the equivalent of a small fries at Maccas. Grill'd manages to do both. There's a place called Original Burger Chef nearby that makes sweet potato chips that are an order of magnitude better than everywhere else, including the slew of trying-so-hard-to-be-Melbourne cafes that keep springing up.
Also, I just discovered the Mega Mac, and it's my new go-to burger until further notice. I'm a big fan of the Double Quarter Pounder, but I think this pips it.

I don't think it was the exact same variant but Marvellous Creations really stood out among the vast quantities of chocolate I inhaled over Christmas. Clear winner.Cletus wrote:Just about to crack this shit wide open and this thread seemed appropriate. Chocolate just reached a new level.

Red Rooster do good chips, I'm suprised no one has mentioned it. Their chicken though I don't like, sometimes they're black inside.

Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
I just had one. Too much meat for me. And I'll say this about most of McDonald's menu compared to KFC. McDonalds does not travel. At all. Not five minutes. You have to eat pretty much any of it immediately or it's a fucking abortion. Melted cheese into lettuce, bun soaked with special sauce...the bleed in taste of the pickles to the meat. A Big Mac is a near perfect burger. It deserves its fame or infamy. But it must be fresh. So rather than scoff my Mighty Mac at the point of sale, I travelled roughly five minutes. That killed it.Gamma wrote:

KFC on the other hand can travel - for hours in fact. Sure, you'll lose your chips...but the likelihood is they'll be eaten during the trip. And the buns probably won't make it either. But the chicken, the mash, the coleslaw even the simple burgers will travel well if you have to go that way. You can eat yesterday's cold KFC and enjoy it...especially if you're camping or hung over.
I stand by my statement. The most delicious poison ever created.

Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
You're telling me I have to make my own fucking burger?!
Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
I'll pay that Big Macs do not travel well, but I've rarely had sufficient reason to do anything but eat them immediately. If I wanted it later, I'd buy it later. Such is the convenience of fast food. I don't think I'd feel safe in the same room as day old KFC, but each to their own.

It originated in Singapore but you know... it's funnier if you attribute it to the US.

That second pic aka what you're relly getting doesn't look too appetising, but then again those kids at KFC never handled a sausage before.
Re: The Fat Idiots Thread
Wow, that is probably one of the few over the top bits of fast food fare that does not interest me. Looks gross. Same with the zinger burger to be honest, just does not appeal.
