More good signs for the Bombers today.

3 men down on the bench (we had late withdrawals without replacement), missing Lucas, Stanton, Watson, Jason Johnson and such and only went down to an almost full strength Doggies line-up by 11 points.

Lloydy kicked 7, the youngsters showed some more promise and Mcphee was apparently pretty good in his first real outing for a while.

minus his new haircut, mcphee is looking good so far this year, i hope its a return to form, we really need it.

Llyod seems to have recovered pretty well... pity, as it moves the Bombers out of wooden spoon contention to possible final eight contenders.

McPhee = probably the Bomber I hate most. With a bit of luck he'll be ironed out by Croad in Round 6.

Croad and Freo =

Hawks trade Croad (promising young KPP) to Freo and use the draft picks to secure Luke Hodge and Sam Mitchell.

Croad flounders at Freo as they try and turn him into a centre half forward.

Croad eventually returns to Hawks - cost us #10 draft pick - but Freo continued to pay part of his (excessive) wage.

Hawks turn Croad instantly into all-Australian centre half back.

Freo's #10 draft pick also flounders and eventually finds himself playing for the Tigers.

Fuck Chaos, how many more high draft picks will it take? Gibbs looked average on Saturday night, but Carlos Sentanna (the Irish bloke) could be ok.

I must agree Gibbs looks like the most overrated player ever. Granted he hasn't played a single real AFL game yet, but Judd was born looking like the superstar he is.

By the way, the Irish guy's name is Sultana O'Bran.

Sultana O'Bran. I like that. May have to use it, if I may? Leuenberger looks much furhter ahead of Gibbs at the moment IMHO. Shit, Jetta and Davey look better than Gibbs, especially Davey.

Gibbs dropped a fucking sitter on his own in the midfield which caused a turnover and running shot at goal. Luckily he was only punished with a point. Seriously though kids learnt how to mark those when they were 9!
