Re: NRL 2K16 - The Lime Green Force Awakens
Panthers 0 - 2
But we're sure as hell a lot better than those sides... and the Knights. Sadly with the Broncos this weekend one of them will probably get a win before we do. I can only see us winning 2 games at most before Round 10. Might be sitting on 3 wins after Round 10.
R3 - Broncos - HOME
R4 - Dragons - AWAY
R5 - Eels - AWAY
R6 - Cowboys - HOME
R7 - Roosters - AWAY
R8 - Sharks - AWAY
R9 - Raiders - HOME
R10 - Warriors - HOME
I can't see us beating Broncos or Cowboys. Eels, Sharks and Raiders we are a chance against but will no doubt find a way to lose them no matter how well we play. Roosters, Dragons and Warriors games are winnable based on the opening 2 rounds, but there's as much chance that they improve as we do. Probably more since they have been pure shit, while Panthers have been solid and actually tried hard but failed.
Maybe things will change when Segeyaro and Moylan are back. But for now... I don't have faith in our ability to win a single game. Anthony Griffin seems to have his players fired up to try hard. But they just don't seem to have any attacking structure whatsoever.

Panthers are no chance against the Raiders, just making sure you're aware of that one mx.
As dangerous as it is to say this, I actually think if we can keep our real halves on the field we can make some noise this year.

We nearly beat you already. We threw that game away. But I do agree Raidrs are a contender this year.Candy Arse wrote:Panthers are no chance against the Raiders, just making sure you're aware of that one mx.

I think we're simply missing Moylan. He was the guy who had the match winning plays in him, or bought Soward the time and space he needed to come up with them.
Before his injury last year he was leading the NRL for linebreak and try assists. Sadly he's going to be rusty as fuck when he returns and even if he was back Round 4. He probably wont be much good until Round 7 or 8. By then the season is pretty much gone.

Re: NRL 2K16 - The Lime Green Force Awakens
As tempting as it is to crown a premier after week 2, as per usual I'm holding all serious considerations until after State of Origin.
Souths are racking up some points but they're beating jabronis. The Broncos are winning but they could drop the ball when it counts...again Manly suck but could come good when it counts. The Raiders and Tigers are winning...but they're the Raiders and Tigers so what does that even mean?
If I was going to put money anywhere right now, it goes in these directions -
QLD will win Origin...again. And again. And again.
Newcastle and St George stink.
Brisbane will be a top 4 team.
Parramatta will do nothing.
Penrith will overtrain their players and suffer more injuries than any other team.
Everything else is up in the air.

Re: NRL 2K16 - The Lime Green Force Awakens
Well as it stands now we have Matt Moylan, George Jennings and Sione Katoa listed as due back round 4. That improves our NRL and NSW Cup sides.
Nsw cup gain Will Smith, George Jennings and Sione Katoa
NRL gains Matt Moylan and also not having Will Smith. Safe money is on him having an absolute shocker of an error against Brincos. A few basic errors and a few really nice touches that leave you with mixed feelings on him.

Oh and Raiders will be sitting on 3 wins with Broncos afte smashing the Knights. Might even get a huge f/a boost to jump them. Knights are barely NSW Cup quality.

40 nil... and they lost Dale Copley along the way. Henderson aswell, but he's not a big loss.
They would be desperate for Pearce to return. Hastings and Nikorima are too young and inexperienced to lead around such a weak side.

Yep that was an epic choke. Lead by 16 against a team missing Moylan, George Jennings, Blake, Whare, Segeyaro and Merrin with no wins and you let them win it through a rookie.

Ha! Not even the slightest bit worried. Poor second half, but we will be there in September and all I care about is form and the health of the team then. Good to see Penrith notch a win, they're better than 0-3.

Hard to disagree with any of that Madmya. Broncos will be too 4 and odds on grand finalists.
Panthers being 0-3 after being the better team for huge parts of the first 3 games would have been shit.
We needed that so much more.

Re: NRL 2K16 - The Lime Green Force Awakens
I think it showed that Penrith needed it more, they certainly wanted it more in the second half.
Had knights +4 yesterday and Titans head to head win. Oh yeah.
Titans at home won't be an easy beat team, they're a lot better than people give them credit for. Having said that, I wouldn't bet someone else's money on them making the 8.

It's good for TV ratings if they're seen as a winning team.
