It's ridiculous that the Storm big 3 just keep performing at such a level. For like 5 years now I have thought this is the year age will catch up to them and they will be back level with the playing field.

But outside of Slaters body breaking down for a bit, age has barely had any effect on them.

In 2006 the Storm were a team who had won nothing, Brisbane at least had premiership-winning players in the team plus the assistance of the refereeing crew in the GF - as has been well documented.

I'm not going to bitch and moan that we should get a sweetheart Friday night schedule year after year like the NRL Boncos do because no one else does either. All those close losses and now bad losses plus on-field spats. Something is up internally.

Im just pissed off the two teams I expected to do well and hoped would do well are shit and wont be in the 8.

I have no one to cheer for when the finals arrive. Il decide who I hate least when the time comes. In a way the Eels finally not sucking might be the least annoying outcome.

But it looks like its a Storm vs Sharks grand final again. And with Sharks winning last year I dont have a soft spot for them this year. Although seeing Lewid win a third Grand Final would be kinda cool. Just a shame 2 of them werent with Panthers.

DCE is last in the pecking order. He's had a shot and proved he's not up to Origin. I personally would have picked a different side, but applaud choosing Hunt over DCE.
