Have watched the Slater bump a few times now and don’t understand why that contact of all the legal contact in League is worthy of a charge and possible suspension. It wasn’t even high contact. Just a square body on body bump.

Ok just read the rule. Clearly Slater used his hands as well although given the situation, angle and his momentum it ended up being more bump than tackle. What else could he do?

It's meant to deter face to face shoulder charges. Anything else is a grey area that ends up where it is illegal by the rules but really shouldn't be.

Many people hate storm, but I was probably in a minority of QLDers going for Roosters over Storm. That said, I don't think support was as overwhelmingly one-sided as this match up would have been in previous years.
