With more news appearing from the above 2 sources, thought it would be handy to have BBCODE support so you can embed links from twitter and reddit into the board.
For example from the recent google thread I posted.

Firefox on android it just shows a scroll bar with nothing in it.
Weird. I just tried in IE, Edge, and Firefox on Windows 10 and they all looked pretty much the same as on Chrome. Still way too much whitespace on the sides of embedded Reddit posts.
Also worth noting is that you have to be logged in to view attachments, even if they're inline images. How long has that been a thing for?

He probably has javascript disabled or there might be adblock stopping it, the way the embedding works is invoking javascript from twitter/reddit to render the inline widget.
The white space is a workaround for the transparent background the reddit embed has, it doesn't mix well with our dark theme, so I had to put in a div with white background. I'll try and find a way to shrink the div to the size of the items within.
Edit: Fixed it, I had to use "display: inline-block;" style to size the div to the content.
You must have tracking protection enabled. I tried it out on firefox, stock firefox showed them fine, going incognito with tracking protection enabled, they're just blank like you guys said.
Going into settings and forcing tracking protection on for everything, they appear blank in a normal firefox window.
So unfortunately can't do much about it since you're actively blocking it, the best I can do is add the url for the link so you can open it in a separate browser window.
Ok. So yeah I disabled content blocking for this site only (click the shield icon next to your address bar) and it's all good. guttermouth's gif makes sense now
