Why would they need your address when they can just use technology to pinpoint your exact location? Silly mechmech wrote:Yeah, because the first thing it does it send your name, address and fingerprint to the government.

Re: iPhone
The colours of the new interface are fairly subdued, in use it's actually a lot less colourful and obnoxious than iOS6. The whole thing really just gets the fuck out of your way a lot more.

GPS, phone number, front facing camera and now finger prints. All we need is a dna sample. Combine that with Apple ids, facebook ids on phones and search history, you can build very detailed profiles of people, NSA's wet dream come true.mech wrote:Yeah, because the first thing it does it send your name, address and fingerprint to the government.

Re: iPhone
With all the NSA leaks/news, I don't think it's wacky or far fetched. It's actually worse for non US citizens since the NSA doesn't need warrants to spy/collect information on individuals.

Selling the last ios device that lives in the house on the weekend (Bring on the GumTree Frenzy). They can deal with ios7 themselves.

Re: iPhone
Just a heads up, my 4s and third gen iPad are draining battery slightly more than ios6. That's during usage and on standby. It's not a big difference but it's definitely there.

Loving iOS7 on the iPad. Also, "By The Seaside" is the fucking funniest ringtone ever.

iPhone 4s here and the update is a lot faster for me.
Battery seems to be draining faster too though.

Re: iPhone
So who got an iPhone 6?
I got the 128gb one. Finally enough space to store all my music.

Re: iPhone
Nice. My work supplied 5c will be with me for a while but I'm loving ios8 improvements so far.
Re: iPhone
My wife has a 5, i.e. pretty much the same as the 5C, and still loves it. I did have second thoughts on upgrading tbh - the 5 is "good enough" as phones go. But this way I get a much better spare / unlocked phone, way more space, and I'm actually looking forward to the bigger screen, surprisingly.
iOS 8 is really nice, though I think they need a few point releases to work out the kinks.

Re: iPhone
Oh and thank god they adding family sharing and the upgraded storage limits.
