The Alphabet of Manliness - A Book by Maddox
This caught my eye in the bookstore today. After reading the blurb which is just a collection of hate-mail quotes and opening up to a page which featured a tutorial on headbutting women in the ovaries I knew I had to have it. I'm only a chapter into it but it really is funny as hell.
I also picked up Stephen King's Dark Tower, but i'll review that after i've read it.

AH awesome - i didn't know this was out, I've been reading Maddox's site for years! The number of times that bastard has had me crying in fits of laughter...
MUST GET BOOK!
And about Dark Tower - My gf and mates always go on about it, so i started reading it but only got halfway through book 1. It was good n all, but i dunno - i dont think i have the attention span to read books anymore hehehe.
Unless it's something by Chuck Palahniuk - Choke, Survivor, Fight Club - GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!

Well the Alphabet of Manliness was really great, a book has never made me laugh so hard before.
I read about a quarter into Dark Tower before giving up. I guess the Western Setting isn't my thing or maybe it's just King's meticiulous descriptions. Either way, it bored me.
I've now picked up 'Vengeance' which is what the movie Munich was based upon. It's pretty compelling so far. A lot of depth and information the film couldn't communicate.
