Just got back from Roxette. Was fucking amazeballs. ...and I know this is a weird thing to say, but the rhythm guitarist was fucking awesome.

I saw Soundgarden and FNM at Soundwave on the weekend. Soungarden were very good, FNM were fucking AMAZING.

Yeah Soundwave was great!!

Day 1 - Had Lagwagon, Vandals the Milencolin all after each other so didn't have to move. Then checked Judas Priest and Smashing Pumpkins.

Day 2- Was pretty much fucked from the day before, so fucken hot. Decided to leave late and got there about 5. Checked out Ministry and then watched Soundgarden and Faith No More steal the show. No wonder they had FNM last, cause really who could follow that performance.

They played in Tokyo when I was in Nagano (after being in tokyo for a week before and after), and then in Melbourne when I was travelling home. Such unlucky timing... I fucking hope they tour again with the new album.

I was LTTP getting into FNM. Literally weeks after I grabbed all of their CDs and listened to them obsessively they split up. I remember listening to the news on tripleJ in disbelief

Lost most of his sexy, but the music's still there

Guy spent most of that time practicing guitar instead of being in the gym. Does him playing guitar on it work for the album? Yes and no. It doesn't really live up to the 2000 release of 'Voodoo' but what could? It's literally the best album ever.

FNM will be interviewed on JJJ breakfast this Friday.

I haven't seen them this time round but saw them on their first reunion tour a couple years ago.
Jumped off the bus in Sydney and as I walked past the band pulled up and I got to shake Puffy's hand

Continued my Devin Townsend binge and bought Ocean Machine, Terria and Ki from his own store online. The dude managed to sign them in the process which was a nice touch. I'd already listened to Ki (excellent) but not the other two. Beautiful is the word I'd use to describe both Terria and Ocean Machine, particularly Terria. I'm a big fan of both and I can feel I'm approaching big fan status of the man himself. Gushing over.

Roger that, I will. I have heard Synchestra before and can vouch that the first few songs are fucking bliss but I haven't given the album the attention it deserves. I shall purchase and sit on it for a while.
