I haven't (yet) gotten Robocop on blu, but I have Maniac Cop! Great film.

Recently purchased John Carpenter's They Live and JC's Body Bags (never seen Body Bags. Great, fun little film with some brilliant cameos)! They Live though is simply stunning. Love that film.
Also purchased The Howling and Psycho 2. Both are beautiful on blu ray with great special features.

I guess this is the place to discuss ultra HD movies now.

So far I have mad max which looks OK and the Lego movie which just looks like a regular blue ray to me.

I did just pick up planet earth 2 and trolls in the recent bogof sale at JB, expecting more from these.

What are the better 4k movies out there?

Yeah, HDR also but it isn't HDR10 or whatever... I can't get it to look good.

My telly has HDR too before there was a standard and like you it looks meh. After a bit of research I found that you have to tinker with the settings quite a bit and from memory the menu covers most of the screen anyway. It's a bitch to set up so I gave up since everything seems to require different settings.

Yeah it might be worth it if you have a good enough TV but I couldn't get it to look good on my telly, it actually makes the picture darker so it's actually worse.

My TV is heaps brighter than my old panny plasma anyway so the whites are super white, still looks good.
