Tbh, the back wheel looks 2D.

I was driving around for a few days before I discovered an old fine from Dec among some papers. Went to pay it and found out my license had been suspended since April and the fine forwarded to Spers.

Scored myself a demo Holden in the sales, couldn't resist the v8 update to the LS3, the sound did it for me.

Thanks, pick it up fri. I was looking at v8 bmers but for what I wanted and the price range was going to end up being 7 years or more old and now with the updated engine Holden are using less powerful at only 270kw, plus get all the gadgets which is what I really care about, stuff to fiddle with.

Pics pls. I was considering a BF GT but the price of those I think I'm going to hunt down a MY05-06 VZ Clubsport. Always loved those R8s, more so than the VE onwards.

Since I'm back in NZ and Holden Clubsports are vastly overpriced I have settled with a Toyota. Pick this beauty up tomorrow.

No, that's the only downside. NZ doesn't get many of the leather options unless cars are imported from Japan. There weren't even any Aurion TRD models released here, only 2 registered in NZ, both imported privately. I'll have a look around and see if there's something available but not a necessity atm.

Anyway, have a gander here Ministry.

Tinkering with the aftermarket throttle controller yesterday, wow, the difference between off (factory default) and Full Throttle on #9 is unreal, can't even feather the throttle from standing still without being thrown back in the seat and the wheels trying to break traction even with traction control on. By far the fastest car I've owned. I've just been cruising around on Economy mode and getting 300+kms for half a tank.

Misjudged the reversing camera tonight and rubbed the back bumper into Tates mums new car she bought yesterday. My car unmarked, hers, not so much. I think it was the mag that did the damage to hers. I'm in the naughty corner at the moment and gave her $300 towards a touch up.

15 Months later and I'm just finalizing the last of the paperwork for this beauty. 2005 R8, 1 owner, 140km, full leather and options package including ng factory GPS and sunroof too. Totally unmolested/stock.

What do you drive?

Post by flipswitch »

Why, what’s wrong with it?

It’s a very sort-after number plate. 1-8 were taken so I chose 9.

I forgot this was a tread given i have had company cars for the last 15 years or so, mostly white Camrys.
I handed back my Camry almost 11 months ago now and haven't looked back, have been happily driving my dream beast for almost a year now.

Time flies.

Copped a brand new 2019 Ford Ranger XLT last week - charcoal grey. Now I'm doing some shopping to jazz it up in a few spots to make it look truly beastly, but without the 30k extra needed to buy a Raptor outright.
