I'm no mountain biking pro, but these kind of pedals go good:
Jesus. Sorry for the stupid size. I have these pedals and your feet don't slip, plus you're not locked in. Nice pedals!

Nice, just had a look and not too bad on the wallet either. Last mountain bike I had was a GT 10 years ago, looking forward to getting out in it.

Re: Games Ranch health and fitness discussion
What headphones do you guys use while training? I use Jaybird X4 and they're great in all areas except max volume. The issue not confined to that set. Not sure if it's the more careful/litigious age we live in now and/or age decline on my part but I don't find headphones as loud as they once were. I had a pair of Blue Ant wireless buds prior to the Jaybird (my toddler son destroyed them) and they were great. Much louder than anything I've tested since.
If anyone has a current set of wireless buds they use and are blown away by I'd love to know what they are.

Jabra Elite series. Have been using them for a few years now and they're brilliant.

I'm very lucky to have access to a small gym with decent weights but there's a tonne of stuff I'd like to get back to at my regular.

Oops. I won't be going for any auditor jobs soon. I searched Twitter for 'Melbourne gyms' after hearing they were staying closed and that Michael Rowland tweet appeared below what looked like a leaked list of restrictions advising outdoor exercise only. Searched again and just now and latest is gyms are opening with restrictions.

Re: Games Ranch health and fitness discussion
Yeah it looks like the "science" on gyms being high-risk locations suddenly changed in Victoria after relentless pressure and hard numbers from the Vic fitness industry.
Funny how that works.
