geez sculli, those hits are all cowardly, same with one I saw on the weekend news, the bloke didn't have the ball and wasn't looking and an opponent ran in and smashed him... that isn't tough, it's crap!

those hits madmya posted are tough, especially the first one, 2 big men, nothing cheap about it, all shoulder, massive impact.
league players don't wear a lot of pads these days, most don't wear pads at all, just strapping.

The games are different in that AFL players have (or should have) eyes for the ball which often leaves them open while NRL players have eyes for the man and brace for impact.

Here's my most fave music peices on a dvd i found on youtube. Its by a band called Godsmack and its basically a drum-off/play together thing between the drummer and the singer. The singer has been playing drums since he was 5. The drummer is a very talented drummer and the singer is awesome as well. It goes for over 7mins but its well worth it and definately watch all of it if you really appreciate the art of drumming or into metal....sounds good if you have awesome speakers and sub!!

I know a few drummers from friends who have bought the dvd with this solo on it just to have it on dvd they liked it that much
