Looks like I've been banned too. I'm pretty sure it would be impossible for anyone to find where I said anything against PlayNOW! itself, ilce, DJ Fusion or WoW either. I even defended ilce against some of the personal stuff flying around.
It's sad because PlayNOW! was the first forum I ever joined, and the reason I joined (after lurking for years, back to when PlayNOW! was a "real" website, and not just a forum), it was because of the lack of moderation and other crap that infected other places. Nobody took anything seriously, and it was all good

ilce is mental. He reckons I was banned for PMing people telling them to come here. First off - how is that a bannable offense? Secondly - I DIDN'T EVEN DO IT.

What a froot loop.
Can you even monitor PM's as an admin of the board?
I think the most disappointing thing to come of this entire affair is the death of one of the best gaming forums ever. I have been a member there since 2000 and I have watched as it survived numerous attacks and deletions, always to come back stronger than before. Why? Because there was a sense of community there unlike other forums. Thanks largely to one person (two if you include the inaction of DJ) that sense of community has been destroyed. I mean, in 5 years no one will give a fuck about WoW. It has been like that in the past, no matter how vitriolic the ranting of fanboys got the forum persisted annd promoted a sense of fairplay when it came to arguing about games. I was sure on a number of occasions the forum was gone forever due to hackers but I never thought a fanboy would ruin it completely.
Lestat said it today: a forum is more than just the site that hosts it - the community that you refer to still exists. For the most part, it has just relocated.

Word. This place feels more like PlayNow has in a long time. Once we get some more arguements going... it will be like the good ol' days. I predict by the time PS3 launches... it will be as good as ever

i was deleted today too, and i think the worst part about this is the way something that survived so long was destroyed over something so transient - an entire world destroyed to make way for a single game - what about when WoW is over?
The stupidest part is that it was all due to one person's stubborn attitude. No one agreed with him, no one would back him up. So now we've all left and no one cares
