Re: The Official Motorsport thread
I don't think Nando wears a beard well.
Re: The Official Motorsport thread
Well thank god for that. Winning that race probably would've been enough for Michael to runaway and see out the rest of the championship.
Man, I hope Webber receives more cheers like that on any remaining podiums this year. That was great. Good on him and the Silverstone folks. He will be missed.
Now, some serious questions need to be raised with Pirelli here. As exciting as it all was, it's still dangerous as fuck and makes for a shit race in the long run.

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
I think Red Bull need to answer questions on Mark's starts. His jump was fine yesterday, then he suddenly stops accelerating like everyone else.

Exciting race. Webber is so good at Silverstone. Yeah his acceleration died in the arse after a start that seemed immediately ok.

Yeah, for the first two seconds of the race I thought he'd nailed his start!

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
feel for ricciardo, he was looking great but that last safety car fucked him... maybe his team should've given him some new tyres but it would've been risky, but he would've done better than 8th
he deserved to be in the top 5
he deserved to be in the top 5

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
Well Helmut thought it was probs best to put his remote control away for the start of this race, instead he got in the ear of one of the pit crew.

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
I just hope that cameraman was ok. I don't give a shit what happened to Mark in comparison.
Oh and go Grosjean! Don't let that German win his home race!

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
The amount of shit that team puts him through, jesus christ. Two fuckups by the pit crew that result in tyres falling off and we're not even half way through the fucking season. Only good that comes of this is that I'm actually happier to see him go than stay in that clusterfuck of a team. And fucking typical, when Horner was asked how the race went, didn't fucking mention Mark at all, just Vettel and the cameraman. Cunt can get fucked.

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
I hope they get in a bunch of shit for that, it's fucking dangerous.
I was already pissy when they pitted vettel first, I would've thought their priority would be to get both back out in front of hamilton and webber was most at risk... vettel pits and the crew high five each other as he was released, webber pits and everything goes to shit as usual.
I would LOVE to read his autobiography!!
feel for ricciardo, he's smashing vergne on the track and is still behind on points.
pitting a few laps before that safety car hurt him a bit but he was going through tyres pretty quick.

Re: The Official Motorsport thread
Apparently Vettel got booed as he was announced on the podium again last night, I missed it! Good drive by Mark, super drive from Hamilton though. He really did deserve that. His passes were good to watch. Weird that he dedicated the win to his ex though...
