Either way, I think the Crows can get up. Missing Hart is so so, we have got plenty of backups for him. Burton will definately play, Macca too more than likely.
I dont think that Hart/Roo will..
Admittedly I think Johncock had a finer season in the backline, however if you watched all of Adelaide's games you cant deny the run he provied from the backline which is akin to Adelaides sucess this year.Froggy wrote:All-Australian on reputation.brent wrote: Not sure how integral Mcleod was? As long as he plays as well as normal, it doesn't really bother me what he does off the field.jahooley wrote:he's not bad for a smoker...brent wrote:Admittedly I think Johncock had a finer season in the backline, however if you watched all of Adelaide's games you cant deny the run he provied from the backline which is akin to Adelaides sucess this year.
I get the feeling Riccuito will play.
They will park him in the goal square and play full forward.
He has enough fitness to provide a leading option... and he would still be a handful just wrestling around the goals. He may be able to pinch hit in the centre for short bursts... but I wouldn't be suprised if they just left him down front.
Clever, clever footballer...

Actually the blind faith bias is rampant in WA.
The debate over here is entirely on who will play the Eagles in the GF.
When I told one guy I had arranged my roster so that I ended up working this evening but had tommorrow afternoon off... he was gobsmacked that I thought the Eagles vs Crows was the match of the weekend.
It's not quite 50:50... more like 55:45 in favour of the Eagles...
But I think it will be a fascinating match.
Eagles - in better form and with fewer injuries.
Crows - risking underdone players but home ground advantage.
Eagles with a better midfield (especially in terms of depth), but the Crows with a backline capable of exposing the Eagles' dampness inside 50.
My fear is that the Crows will fade after half time by playing players coming back from injury.
Can't wait...
And to hell with it... pick Roo and park him in the goalsquare!

My god sydney have the umpires eating out of the palms of their hands. I count 3 bullshit decisions.
1. Hall's first "mark" = goal
2. The not out of bounds decision that got a throw-in = goode's goal
3. The suicidal freo mark dropped that results in sydney goal. By Hall's standard that would have been a mark if there was a swan nearby for him to knee in the back.
Fuck sydney.

Only saw bits of the game (at work)... but Sydney seemed to be generally on top and preventing Fremantle from running hard. Freo worked themselves into some scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise when the door opened.
But still, a pretty awesome effort from a side everyone had written off after a month.
As for the umpiring... didn't see any of the decisions above... but was it any worse than the bias against Sydney in the qualifying final?

The greatest choke ever in AFL history, touted as one of the greatest teams of all time, they didn't even make the grand final for the second year in a row, you don't get much bigger! DISGRACE and CHOKE karma comes around lol, to be leading at 3 quarter time in a HOME preliminary final and to lose, to not have the fortitude to claw out a win, even with goal umpires screwing up west coasts goals is the greatest choke in afl history a tag that I don't think the crows will get a chance to change. Rebuild next year.
Vzzzbx, you lose again!
