“Is this an issue of a woman suffering significant domestic violence, and her children perishing at the hands of the husband?
“Or is it an instance of a husband being driven too far by issues that he’s suffered by certain circumstances into committing acts of this form?”
I think that was a typo. They used the word love but meant petrol. What I find on the nose is how the media tries to slant this as a mental health issue and not a vengeful demented husband.

This happened in a suburb less than 3 mins drive from where I live. A friend of mine lived in the adjoining street to where it occurred. It's awful.. but not what is even worse is how the media is milking the hell out of it. Most of the time.. with a new headline but a slightly updated article.
Update. I've read a longer quote from the detective statement containing the unfortunate words quoted above. The context of the offending words change for me when you see the entirety of his statement. To me he said people will take sides then went on to generally paraphrase what those sides are. Words remain unfortunate but I don't think oft-quoted segments that have hung him out to dry reflect what he intended to say.
Speaking on Thursday, Inspector Thompson had stressed that: "Our job as investigators is to keep a completely open mind.
"We need to look at every piece of information and, to put it bluntly, there are probably people out there in the community that are deciding which side to take, so to speak, in this investigation," he said.

"That's why I want people to come and speak to us. If we are going to build a complete picture as to what has occurred, then we need to need to speak to everyone."
Holy shit, shit going down in Portland now. After 3 months of Antifa running riot, destroying shit burning shit and attacking police, all peacefully. A huge convoy of trump nutjobs have headed into Portland in their Pick-ups with MAGA flags.
So after Antifa for months have demanded the police to be defunded while attacking the police and destroying their stations are now demanding the police to make arrests.
On Saturday morning, shortly before the AP and other news outlets called the election for Joe Biden, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to announce that his lawyers would be holding a “big press conference” in Philadelphia. But there seems to have been some major confusion about where it would be held. First Trump tweeted it would take place at the “Four Seasons, Philadelphia.” Trump later corrected himself and said that the news conference was going to be held at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping. And the Four Seasons Hotel sent out its own tweet, making sure everyone knew that the news conference would not be held there but rather at the landscaping business that has “no relation with the hotel.”
