Accommodation suggestions for 3 dudes (not gay) visiting San Franscisco (re-iterating not gay) for a few days in June this year? Any of you America-heads have favourite, reasonably priced places to stay in San Francisco?

Have been thrashing TripAdvisor but would appreciate any first hand (not gay*) impressions.

*nothing against gay or not gays.

you should come or be in the states around march next year, i'm going back over in oct/nov for the casting agency, but im going over for a proper tour in march, have lots of celeb contacts over there now, nearly all the hills and gossip girl cast lol, so they're going to take me out to some clubs and show me the best places to go..

When i went over in january i didnt get to do anything lol, was in that hotel in bev hills, when you gave me advice on where to go Agz, so yeah thanks for that

.. i never got to try that griddle thing you were telling me about, but i was fucking shocked by seeing a 20 buck coffee in a coffee shop... which later on i realised was nothing as on my last day there the agency took me and the other person to lunch at this resteraunt where the bill for 5 of us ended up being nearly 4k!!.. and it seemed normal to them.. crazy shit.

Got my Lowerpro CompuRover AW Backpack in the mail today that I am taking to the US in July and so I love it!

I got it mainly because I can store both my Laptop and DSLR camera in it. So here are some pics:
