What a legend he is. I remember watching bathurst as a young kid and loving the 05 car he drove. I too am a Ford man, but i have the upmost respect for brocky and what he did for V8 supercars and conquering the mountain 9 times. Thank you Brocky.

This sums it up really, he's one of the few team sports stars I guess that is universally liked. Even though he was Holden through and through I don't know anyone who doesn't like Peter Brock.

Even my Mum had a massive crush on him.

Same here. He was never the wild sort of driver who would punt others off the road or anything - just had loads of skill, good setup ability, and consistently fast. Nice bloke too. I never supported him because I'm in the Ford camp, but could always respect him.

RIP Brocky

I had the pleasure of meeting Brocky in Targa Tas several times. I can never forget helping out at the lunch stops each day, and watching him with the fans. He never stopped signing things and talking to people, until we told him he had to leave. Simply the best person I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

A sad day for motorsports.... Bathurst will not be the same this year.
