Did the ICC hire the AFL goal review umpires?

You'd think they'd be a little inclined to throw us a bone. Anyway, I'm calling it - Australia to win.

We're in good stead for the Aussie series. I wonder if Ryan Harris would have got a go if Lehmann wasn't coach. There's still room for changes/improvement, but at least it doesn't feel like we need as much widespread change. I've been pretty impressed with Steve Smith, him and Clarke played Swann the best by the far.

Reports of players using special tape to trick hotspot:

I hear Watson put it on his pads.

Also, Dougie Bollinger undertaking trials with advanced hair!

I'm referencing Dougies infamous hotspot run in. Where you could see the heat strips in his rug. ;)

Just opining that this tape may help with that.

Bulls are champions again! Rippers! They certainly left it late and made me nervous as all shit. Cuttsy sure can hit a ball.

I think I've watched these highlights more than 10 times. It was a great day for Australian cricket yesterday, and batting is looking very easy for them today too. Get a lead of 500 and hope the cracks in the pitch open up?

But do you play him in Adelaide? You pretty much have to don't you... I fear he won't be as effective.

Adelaide isn't good for the quicks... in particular, Harris who will get tired too easily. Flat and dry drop in pitches there now so Swann should have a field day.

Who the fuck knows with MJ... on top of decent form, Haddin partnership gave him the confidence to bowl even better I reckon, plus the crowd love him (not necessarily the case down here). Then again, England's batting was a fucking disgrace.

When Johnson bowls like this it is the most beautiful thing in the world. They've got no idea how to play him. Those poor stumps are being murdered. Thankfully for Monty's sake it was the end of the over.
