100 runs to go, three wickets in hand. Will be tense!

Edit: Two wickets in hand. Fuck.

Fuck a duck. Lame shit to lose on DRS, but would have been shit to have lost with that given not out... he definitely hit it. Top Test match, Khawaja in for Cowan so at least we'll have 11 players.

At least our bowling looked promising. We shined in places where Eng didn't imo. Anderson did his job as usual, Swann's match winning bowling won't surface until Old Trafford and to a lesser extent, the Oval. Pretty boy Broad is a cunt, just a cunt, and Finn is useless if he can't bowl long accurate spells.

All the DRS talk aside, it's our batting. Partnerships are key. If it were me, I'd bring in Uz but somehow I reckon Cowan will remain.

Completely agree. Our batting was what lost us the game, nothing else. We should have done it at 1/111. But I reckon Cowan is a goner, his body language was terrible throughout that test and was a passenger. I don't reckon Lehmann rates him at all. Usman will come in at number 3. Our bowlers have so much more improvement though, I don't know how Siddle managed 5 wickets in that first innings because he was all over the place.

I'd like to see Ryan Harris in there but I don't think there's room for him, no one really deserves to be dropped. Conn is saying Bird in for Starc which I wouldn't be against either.

I'm against batsmen walking, but this is in another league. If you thick edge one to first slip and you don't walk, you're a shit cunt. If that happened in a club game that batsmen would get sledged so hard it'd be amazing if there wasn't a fight after the game. In my opinion, this incident goes further than merely not walking from a nick.

It's no different to this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricke ... cheat.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Interestingly, Lehmann is blaming Chris Rogers for Watson's review, saying he encouraged him to. Watson had to have known he was out though and has to wear it. I was at a restaurant earlier today and overheard three guys talking about it, one guy saying 'even if his middle peg was out of the ground Watson would still review it.' It got a smile out of me.

See how I don't have to take the bait pilon? It's like us QLDers are already satisfied with our superiority over all those south of us. Eight in a row buddy.

BBC TMS ‏@bbctms 44m

30.26% of Shane Watson’s Test dismissals have been lbw – more than any other batsman in Test history.

That's pretty remarkable. He's going to have a hard time with it for the rest of the series, Anderson won't get it wrong often.
