Honestly, the saddest part of that footage was certainly seeing those children crawling around on their knees, sobbing and worshipping that life size poster of George Bush.

Stuff like that probably isn't too far away from happening here. If you've seen the people who attend Hillsong church, you'll know what I mean. That place is a fucking cult.

I have no issues with people seeking spirituality. I have no issues with parents encouraging it in their children. But this jesus camp thing is encouraging fanaticism. It is just brainwashing them and removing any real sense of judgement they could have. Poor kids are just going to grow up all fucked up and hating everything.

I wouldn't mind seeing the documentary actually. See what it is all about.

Saw the trailer for this on Apple a couple of weeks ago & couldn't believe it, this thread reminded me there was something about it on Lateline last night & I completely forgot. I find this stuff quite fascinating in an ugly car crash kind of way, supposed to be a good "well balanced" doco too but it's not like you have to go out of your way to attack these people, showing them is enough.

Pretty scary eh? Bush is going to try to win back all the conservative voters by tricking people. That footage of the kid cracking those cups with the hammer was pretty frightening. He might be a judge in future.
