Rumour has it that sometime during the Smashes filming G-Sot got into a confrontation with Erin Beach (one of Ross Pearson’s coaches) over some Twitter comments and then got knocked out:

George did come across as a bit of a retard in the show. If that’s really the way it happened then George is a dick, but all we have about it comes from Pearson and only after their fight on Saturday, so I’m not sure what to make of it.

Jebus, Cain Velasquez put an all-time beating on Dos Santos. The fight reminded me of Randy Couture v Tim Sylvia, only far more savage.

Latest season of TUF is up. They mentioned that the fights to get into the house were going to be a bit different in how it was presented on tv... I would have preferred to see more of the fights but the new cameras they are recording with makes it all look sexy as fuck.

Jones jumping up and coaching dudes was weird, but it seems like he might get really invested in his fighters. Sonnen was cool, he seems like a genuinely funny guy. Sure he does a lot of scripted crap for his fights but some of his comments on the show had me in stitches.

I'm pretty hyped for the rest of the season.

sonnen and jones couldn't be more different, I love the start when sonnon is walking around like an action figure making a bunch of lame nerdy comments while jones is kicking back rolling his eyes pretty much, not saying anything

So nobody is talking about Mark Hunt’s incredible walk off broken jaw knockout of Struve? Or the fact that the first round of Silva / Stann was the most unbelievable 5 minutes of madness ever? Is it because the rest of the card was pretty ordinary?

I reckon Hunt did well considering he reckons his timing was so off and he basically fought stupid and ended up on the ground a lot. Stann looked pretty dejected but that was an awesome first round and he deserves credit for making it a barnburner. Some of the earlier fights were boring, and Sanchez in particular should be ashamed – overweight, didn’t look good at all, somehow came out with a decision.
