Regardless of what happens, I think he deserves this chance in the spotlight. I expect he'll lose, but I expected him to lose the last couple times as well. I just hope he puts on a good show. At 38 this is probably as high as he's going. He's been great fun to watch.

Yep, GSP impressively good at what he does but also pretty boring to watch. And Diaz confirmed as the biggest spanner in the UFC. First Jake Shields was complaining about GSP's strapping, then Diaz did absolutely nothing except try to punch after the end of each round, then he retires again, then he complains that someone spied on his awesome new knee roll technique, then he demands a rematch, then he tells the assembled press that he's never paid any taxes. WTF?

And I'm sorry but the big announcement of the next TUF season gets a yawn from me. I'll probably still watch but it doesn't sound that interesting. Chuck that transgender fighter in there as a wildcard to mix it all up.

awesome to see rob whittaker win his first UFC fight, dunno what the story was with his low left arm but he looked great!
I like his style, slipping out of range and timing the counter as he back away, reminded me of chuck liddell a little.

he stuffed all take downs easily so it worked, it can't have felt natural so he did pretty well to follow the game plan.

Mir fight stoppage was ridiculous, he went a bit floppy but at the same time he was going for the legs of the other guy to cover up. You don't get up like he did if it was in heaps of trouble, going by that stoppage Lesnar would never have beaten Carwin etc. Pettis was on a mission, that armbar looked nasty, Henderson jumping around after he tapped like he was training and just reset I don't think could believe how quick he was done.

Did anyone else catch the first ep of the new season of TUF? I think it could be interesting, the house antics. Will be interesting to see how some obviously machismo type men handle getting coached by a woman.

Maybe one or two good fights to get into the house but no one was really stand out amazing. Huge crowd to watch people get into the house, Josh Sammon was there... I wish Uriah Hall had a chance to fight him... God I wanted to see Uriah smash his douchey face in...
