Fuckit, the build up was too much so I'm getting it. Go Rampage! (though I still don't think he'll win...)

Happy for either to win personally, I'm a fan of both.
Fedor would destroy Overeem, btw.
Nailed it. Rampage had his chance but failed to capitalise, he looked gun shy. Don't like Rashad's chances against Shogun either.

Re: UFC: Rashad vs Rampage - Who ya got?
Anyone watching 115 today? (we should have a sticky MMA thread I reckon) I think the prelims are going to be shown free on Fox?
Liddell has lost a bit of the pot and looks in pretty damn good shape. It would be nice to see him have a last good shot but...he's getting on a bit eh. I'm hoping he can get a knockout, though Franklin probably has more ways to win.
I'd also like to see Cro Cop in form again, but given how he's been in his last few fights I can't see that happening. Could be a good fight though. There should be some standing and trading big kicks and punches. Barry looks pretty dangerous - fucken tree trunks for legs. I'm also hoping Rory MacDonald can beat Condit.

I'm pissed Tito pulled out of the fight with Liddell. I was gunning for that fight all season of Ultimate Fighter... oh my neck blah blah blah. Dana was right to kick him from the show.

Ortiz would've only been a spectacle to see Tito get beat up again. I think Liddell v Franklin is a better fight and makes it more meaningful.

Re: UFC: Rashad vs Rampage - Who ya got?
Dana said something funny on his Twitter to the effect that Barry learned a valuable lesson today - Mirko is not your friend! He thought they'd have a standup fight and high-five after every exchange, but Cro Cop took him down and choked him out. It was fun to see but yeah, time for him to sail off into the sunset as well.
Poor Chuck. He actually looked good. Mixed it up heaps more than he has for awhile, got a good takedown, landed some good shots and and heavy kicks. But he's too easy to knock out now. The end was kinda sad and pathetic really.
116 is going to be massive - two big meatheads collide! Plenty of other interest on that card as well.

Best UFC event in some time. Cro Cop has been done for a while, going back to his debut in the UFC, and Liddell has been done for a while, despite looking very dangerous against Franklin, he was far too aggressive and it's what got him KTFO in the end.
If Pat Barry could have stopped with the hero worship he would have won the fight in the first round.

Re: UFC: Rashad vs Rampage - Who ya got?
Yep, looking forward to seeing those two big behemoths going brainlessly at it. Should be an entertaining minute or so. I don't know who to pick in that one either - my brain says Lesnar will just shoot and then lay on top of Carwin for some ground and pound, but my heart wants to see Carwin continue his run of big time knockouts.
Also George Sotiropoulos is on the card against Kurt Pellegrino. Go the Greek Aussie fighting out of the US! Unfortunately Silva had to withdraw due to 3 broken ribs and a stuffed knee. Pfft, what a girl.
