Another classic Swans / Eagles clash...

Unfortunately now I have to put up with the whole WA thing for the next three months (wonder if I can move back to Tassie four months early?).

Anyway, highlights for me;

1) Ambrose don't get no beer

... not that he will care less at the moment anyway.

2) Sydney got slaughtered in the ruck for most of the game. This will hopefully elevate Everitt's value at the trade table. Still hoping we can wrest away a first round pick.

3) The Eagles won... which means they will probably aim to retain their current team structure. This is good news for the rest of the comp as it keeps them somewhat mortal. I swear if you add a decent KPP to that forward line (Fevolva etc) they would lining up for the next five flags.

Well done Eagles...

A behind is not a miss. There are four posts, two goal and two behind. If the ball passes between the posts you get a score. Miss them and the ball goes out of bounds.

It's interesting though, I mean i'm not an AFL fan so my opinion doesn't hold much weight... but what if you take the little posts out of the ground? would that be so bad?

and i'd like it to be play on if the ball hits the posts, if it goes through off the posts it's a goal, if it goes back into the field of play it's play on.

line 3... so what? very few brownlow medalists have walked away with a premiership medal in the same year. in fact, pre-2000 the vast majority of brownlows were taken by sides that finished outside the finals. i can only assume you are a wc supporter who is a little bitter re: an eagle not winning it.
