Heh. Just wait P. It just gets better and better.

I said it on page one after episode 2, BEST TV SHOW EVER MADE, and it just got BETTER AND BETTER from there.
Just finished episode 10, and I'm breathless.
How they handled episodes 9 and 10 was absolutely PERFECT.

Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister is perhaps the best casting I've ever seen.

I was deliberately avoiding this thread again until watching the final episode. Really awesome series. This is the first time in ages that I've been so into a TV series and now I can't wait for the second season. I think I'll even go back and watch 'em all again soon when I have a long weekend or something.

finished watching all of season 1 so so so fucking awesome

im happy i waited till the series ended to watch all the eps..i had upto ep 5 setting on my HTPC for a while so once i noticed the final ep had come out i started watching em all

wait for season 2 will be killer..

fucking loved it that Lena Headey was cast...ive been a big fan of hers since Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles ..

also really loved the characters Khal Drogo & Daenerys Targaryen..next season is going to be fucking godlike

Never read the books, waited until it was out out on Blu-ray before I watched it. Brilliant, loved it, my new favourite show

Happy to wait until Season 2 is on Blu-ray though

Don't like shitty online rips, they're up there with Bali DVDs as far as I'm concerned, and I hate waiting a week for the next episode, so I don't watch TV shows when they're on TV. Just give me the boxset and I'm happy

Season 1 final scene is possibly the pinnacle of television. I can't think of anything better than seeing a naked blonde with a dragon curled around her. If I were full blown nerd I think that scene might have killed me. I'm amazed we didn't lose anyone when it first aired.

Got into this show late, ended up watching the first season in a couple of days as I was hooked. Such a great show just hate having to wait between episodes and only 10 episode seasons

Finding season 2 very average so far - the writers are making too much shit up. When the story actually follows the books it is gold but when it starts deviating you can tell where Martin ends and the show runners begin. Hoping they hit the right beats coming into the end of the season.

I'm ok with most of the variations from the books. But yeah, they've strayed a lot further from the books this season than they did n season 1.
The only variation so far that has really grated with me is the Qarth stuff. What a mess.
And they've waded too far into Tywin/Arya. Tywin knows Arya is missing in Kings Landing, and in the books, there was vague suspicion that Arya wasn't a nobody, but certainly not as explicit as has been showed in the Tv show. It undermines Tywins intelligence.
