I also use Airvideo, if you don't mind streaming. When you have terabytes of tv shows and movies, copying them all to your device isn't really an option…air video is fucking great, and the server software will also do conversions to allow them to play natively for you (which saves a bunch of battery, I'm told).

I got a nice Kensington one from officeworks for about $35. I wanted something that has a hard cover on the back.

End up getting a Belkin cover from bigw, not a hard shell but it clips in on the corners and fold out into a stand, looks nice and will keep it safe.

The screen is so good, just wish more apps/games took advantage of it, looks way better than my laptop screen, tv screen etc.

The speaker is surprisingly good too, my games all sound nice!

The new smart case are a back/front cover now, btw. They're also $59 now. Old model is still available.

Chrome for iOS. If it's anywhere near as good as the Android version, you guys should love it.

It is forced to use the Apple Webkit engine.... it's just a wrapper for that. So lame Apple, so lame.

Chrome uses Webkit anyway. Mobile Chrome is all about the other stuff it brings to the party though.

Chrome on Android uses the V8 Javascript engine. Chrome on iOS uses Nitro.

Chrome on the iPad is actually pretty good. Seems a lot more stable than safari from what I have found. It's different and I will say I'm used to safari but I'm going to try and make the change over I think. Must say I'm glad that EOFY is here now... New FY means new tablet that I can claim on tax... Just not sure which one to get!! Squee!

Oh yeah. They only enabled it on web apps didn't they. No wonder the Facebook app is so glacially slow.

Regarding iMessage. Why do I get two separate conversation streams with some people? I get with Lepo ( for example) his phone isn't an iPhone so if his iPad is off it goes to his phone. Or I send a text message to Juz but because he just switched to Android, my phone refuses to accept that it no longer is sending an iMessage and waits quite a while before sending as an SMS. And if he happened to leave his iPhone on at home connected to wifi, the message doesn't even go to his actual working Android but to the iPhone. It's annoying but I get it. But then my brother who only owns an iPhone can send me a message and it starts as a new stream, effectively giving me two conversations with my brother. The messages aren't sent twice, they're either in one stream or another. It's messy.

Yeah sometimes it shits its pants, I think it has to do with needing to have their details all in one contact - but sometimes it doesn't work.

It's nice that I can use Chrome on my iPhone before using it on my Galaxy Tab.

New iPad GET. Fucking FINALLY.

Now. Tell me about this iCade thingy. And, is it any good? Also... Mame?! I've had a quick google, but I'd rather hear it from you guys. One of you lot must be all over this stuff. Also, what are your favourite Pinball apps? Is there anything that has actual licensed Bally & Williams tables?

Cheers dudes. :)
