What would Tool be like live I wonder? Some of thier songs go for fukn ages with long softer/quiet parts. I enjoy alot of thier music but I don't think I'd enjoy it live...rest of the line up looks arse.

Because you want to see them play their own show? I believe they've announced own shows over east coast, but not yet adelaide or perth.

I saw em a few years ago at the entertainment centre and they were pretty awesome. But yeah, there is a lot of down time too

They're only playing sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney which hurts me deep.

Arthas, find some live videos of tool on youtube or something. Not only are they flawless live they have amazing visuals to make the experience even better.

Fuck I can't wait to see Tool.

skinner - music festivals rule...with good bands of course
I also heard the Black Keys were meant to be doing the BDO...that would be a slight improvement, they're awsome

uh, nothing really good coming up anytime soon - malmsteen i s an exception.
I really hope Jurassic5 come back, they are yet to tour our shores for their lastest album

Well, they're the confirmed acts for Perth and QLD Summadayze, so I doubt anything will change for the Melbourne one... unless they have some huge announcement they're holding back on! We'll know Monday

And I chose to stay at Beastie Boys that year, which resulted in me missing out on the Chemical Brothers......MOTHERFUCKER!!!!
