They're not even trying to make it look like a post apocalyptic world either. 2 (3?) years after the world has gone to shit and all the lawns look like they have been freshly mowed. Also, are they just using the same house every they go out into the world? The house Rick & Alfred are holed up in looks pretty much like the same house Rick found the two survivors in last year, you know the one with the bung leg in a brace.

Excellent tracking work from Michonne too. If it were me, an empty can on a road in front of a house was not a sign that someone was inside that house was in that house. But that's more than enough of a sign for Michonne to check it out, and good thing too otherwise she may have missed Rick and Alfred.

And if there was a zombie in the attic, why didn't it start mindlessly bashing at the door after it heard Alfred shouting obscenities downstairs? The ones outside that Alfred had to lure away from the door didn't have any problem hearing the slightest sounds from inside when they were just wandering past.

8 minutes in and fuck me. Daryl and Beth standing in the woods. Daryl can tell the difference between people tracks and walker tracks. A big fat shuffling zombie can still take them by surprise.

I'm officially a hater of this show. Put me down in the haterZ group. Watching this episode at double speed. I can't sit through another 34 minutes at normal pace.

It was looking pretty good until Carol turned up. I've got nothing against Carol but none of these characters are worth bringing back.

Why are there always zombies only metres away from any character all of the time, where ever they are? Zombies in the woods. Zombies on the golf course. Zombies in the country club. Zombies near the still. Zombies just walks up and looks in the window of the moonshine still shack. Zombies 10 seconds after the shack is set on fire.

And then why are there so many dead people just laying around that haven't gone zombie? And why does everything have to look 10 - 20 years old? Why do I keep watching when I hate almost every scene, character, line of dialogue and moment?

I'm this close to calling it quits. Mayhap I'll just finish this season and call it a day. I get no joy whatsoever out of this. None at all.

Well the characters are so strong and compelling that they thought we deserved an entire episode containing only two of them. Ooh, oooh, oh.

It was just another typically shit episode for me up to when Beth says to Daryll "we should burn it down". And then they actually do it. Set fire to a perfectly good shelter. At night. In the middle of a zombie apocalypse. So now what do they do, run around in the dark for the rest of the night until they have to hide in the boot of a car? Oh wait, thats how the episode started. But at least that showed the desperation of the situation, that they would have to seek protection in whatever way they could. Then they just completely undo this by burning down the shack. This show is just one ridiculous idea after another. How the fuck it continues to receive critical acclaim is beyond me.

I liked the episode but only because it was a story used near the start of the comic series. Kids murdering kids... The comic was still better due to Coral killing the psycho kid and cementing his bad arse status.

That had to be the saddest episode of them all yet. Even sadder than seeing Herschel die, in my opinion. This is EPIC television. In many ways, it's sad that so many people won't have a chance to see it because the gore turns them away. But the writing, the acting, the depth of the characterizations, and the richness of the story lines are simply incredible.

I hate the original cast they ruin the show. They finally get some good writers and are doing something interesting with the show but all the previous seasons have just damaged what they are doing now. I'm too distracted with my past hatred to enjoy it.

Look I could have picked every episode apart for this season too. There's no improvement here at all. Yeah the latest episode was the most watchable since the barn slaughter. But the shit that gets written each week is astoundingly poor. Just as an example - and trust me there are about ten obvious ones for each episode - when Daryl opens the door last week to a horde of zombies you could clearly see, how do they chase him so closely into a dead end room and not get one bite in? He holds them off with two gurneys. Or even this week the burning zombies (appearing right at that random place) stick right on the girls' tail until Carol and T Dog kill them. It has never improved. I've just given up preaching the wrongs.

He's from the comic and he looked exactly like that. This is the season where the writers remember that it is based off source material.
