49ers v Packers will be interesting (not that I wouldn't be watching anyway), curious to see which Packers side turns up to play. Hopefully Kaepernick ups his games, we can catch the ball and our defense shuts plays down like they have all year.

Re: NFL Season 12-13
Todays games were dreadful.
Tomorrows games will more than make up for todays crud I'm sure.
Packers are going to smash the 49ers I'm afraid.
Yup. I said those very words so many times during the game. Pretty much unfolded the way I expected, except the result being the other way around. Dalton was a fucking disgrace.Candy Arse wrote:The Texans/Bungals game was fucking horrible. I wish both teams could have lost.
Yup. Brady is going to eat up the Texans.pilonv1 wrote:The winner was going to get killed next week anyway

Re: NFL Season 12-13
Seattle were easily the most impressive team in the Wildcard round. Anyone willing to take Atlanta over them? I sure as hell won't be.
I think we have some potentially mouth-watering Conference Championship games possibly lining themselves up -
Seattle vs either the 9ers or Packers sounds great. One is a divisional game which always has spice, the other is a rematch from the replacement ref game that ended up costing Green Bay the 2nd seed in the NFC.
In the AFC, Brady vs Manning. No more need be said.

And by the way, can we now say that the NFC West is the NFL's best division? Two of the final four teams left in the conference are from that division, and the Rams are also on the improve. Only a few years ago it was a complete joke.

Re: NFL Season 12-13
If the Niners lose tomorrow, Harbaugh and Kaepernick are going to be heavily scrutinised all off-season.
On form you have to take GB, but I picked San Fran to make the Superbowl before pre-season, so I'm not backing down now.
Give me San Fran, Denver, Seattle and New England this weekend.

Rad, Denver are playing early. Might watch it.
I've watched little NFL, but I already don't like Kaepernick. Is that unjust?

Re: NFL Season 12-13
The AFC and NFC matchups this weekend are so different.
Pats and Boncs should both get up.
Packers v 9ers - coinflip. Hagz v Falcons - another flip.
Pats, Boncs, Packers, Seahagz are my picks.
Packers, Texans +9.5 is my multi going into this weekend.

This also means that Tim Tebow has more playoff wins as Denver QB than Peyton Manning.

Re: NFL Season 12-13
Fuck me dead, if I was a 9ers fan I would have creamed myself watching that game. That was unbelievable.
No more doubts about Kaepernick, his first playoff game and he sets an all-time NFL record
If Atlanta wins tomorrow they're getting KILLED by the 49ers next weekend. I desperately want Seattle to win to set up a 9ers/Seahawks game, it has all the makings of an all-time classic. Given how well the two teams know each other and how similarly they're built...this game needs to happen.
Patriots should put a big score on Houston and set up a rematch from last year's AFC title game.
Today's been by far and away the best day in the NFL all season by a mile, both memorable games.

Re: NFL Season 12-13
Bias on my part, but hoping Atlanta get up over Seattle (however we'd lose home game advantage).
I feel so sorry for Alex Smith, he's a good player, really embraces the whole bay area (incl SF Giants) but how can you say no to Kaepernick being the starter? If Kaep can work on his accuracy and not use power all the time, no doubt he'll become the 'blueprint' for future QB's.

Well he's RGIII without the injuries.
Alex Smith will have to leave town now if he wants to be a starter in the league.
If Atlanta wins tomorrow then San Fran will steamroll through to the Superbowl.

Atlanta are choking dogs, they should have lost the game today. I think San Fran are going to kill them.
NE vs Baltimore will be a great rematch. I think the stage is set for a 49ers return to championship glory. Falcons won't be able to hang with them, I think they can beat Baltimore and now that Gronk is out AGAIN NE are going to suffer without him.

With the exception of the Pats/Texans game which everyone knew would be shit, the other three games were fucking AMAZING.
Ravens V 49ers superbowl imo.

Re: NFL Season 12-13
As long as the 49ers make it I don't care who wins in the AFC.
I think San Fran vs either AFC team could make for a classic Superbowl.
Ravens/Niners would be the Harbowl.
