The drive in the HD-DVD add-on won't be anywhere near as loud as the DVD drive in the actual 360, right?

The hd-dvd drive is a 1-2x hd-dvd drive, so it will be a lot quieter than the 12x standard dvd drive.

Good to hear, though I probably won't be getting one unless it does 720p/1080i via component.

It will happily do 720p/1080i over component for hd-dvd titles. For 1080p you need to use vga.

I guess in that case I'll probably pick one up if they prove to be hella cheaper than standalone players. From what I have seen HD-DVD seems to have had a better penetration into the US market.

I won't be rushing out to get it when it is released though.

That is a great fricking ad.

Man I love break dancing. I remember when I was a kid in the 80's I always used to do it on the living room floor. Mum would yell at me... So I would grab some cardboard boxes and drag them into my bedroom so I could practise :D I was terrible at it and I was always envious of the rocksteady crew and groups like that. Crazy Legs was awesome...
