Re: the Metal thread
Eeh. I'll keep checking out stuff Zeke does (Over Reactor, this) but I'm getting a bit over him.
He used to be a fantastic vocalist in his early Full Scale Deflection days but all he can do now is bark.
Will always listen to Lucius Borich, but by the sounds of it I'd be more interested in him doing more stuff from Floating Me

It's promising cloud. Will try to keep an eye on them.
I'd love another Floating Me album, reckon it'll happen though? Not sure how well the first album took off, it had some great songs though.

Superheist. Great band from straya...well they were until they went all metallica and went from metal to rock
When you get to the track "Truckasaurus" ( Track 4 ) from 0:19 fast forward it to 2:41, this isnt an error, this was on the cd itself.
This was when these guys had some balls. Great EP!!

I don't even know if it's metal, it's kinda weird. Yet... I'm strangely drawn to it, playing it a lot.

Re: the Metal thread
I love Superheist and Chrome Matrix is awesome. I've always wanted to own Chrome Matrix but it's a rarity. They did go towards rock more, but I didn't get into them until 8 Miles High EP anyway. It's a shame they broke up, they'd had half of another album done, they got the dude from Bodyjar to sing on one of the tracks:edgecrusher wrote:

But I'll always love Beach View and Karma Division.

If I find a copy, I'll get it for ya. I've got mates who might be willing to part ways with it if they still have it.

Brad Wilk playing drums for Sabbath now eh? Good for him.
Deftones + Isis = PALMS

Album June 25, sign me up.
Edit: Shit hey, that Sabbath song ain't bad. Amazes me that Ozzy can hardly talk yet he can still sing fine. The drugs must affect a different part of the brain eh?

Re: the Metal thread
This is a blast from the past for me. Back in the mid 90's, mates formed a metal band called Peanut, did a demo and played gigs in Ballarat and Melbourne. They supported Damaged, Beanflipper and Blood duster to name a few. They won Victorian battle of the bands if I remember correctly and they got "demo of the month" in the HM magazine. Brings back a lot of good drunk mosh pit memories.

Re: the Metal thread
You make a strong argument.
We'll see. Annoyed there's no pricing since they apparently go on sale in 2 days!
