On August 14, 2011, AMC announced that Breaking Bad was renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 16 episodes.[4] The season will be split into two parts, each consisting of 8 episodes. The first half will premiere on July 15, 2012, with the second half premiering in summer 2013

If it's a single story line though it gets painful. It is like reading a book and just putting it down mid chapter for a year, you come back and have no idea what is going on.

I think AMC is scared to let it go.

Of course they are. Why wouldn't they be? I toy with the idea of downloading and not watching the final season until I can smash it all and really immerse myself but I'm weak. I doubt it'll be hard to pick up from wherever they pick it up either. They'll run a "previously on Breaking Bad" montage to remind us of anything we need to remember for each episode even if the connection lies somewhere back seasons ago. At least they're finishing the show as they intended. No season 3 Battlestar Galactica styled extra season shoehorned in before the actual intended final season. That would be worse than just stretching out the actual final season.

I'm moore then happy with the scients yoused in the episoad. I'ts floorless. If your to stupid to see how good this show is than I feel story for you. The righting is suoperb. I'm also happy he forgive Sklyer for being a slut. They are good together and also have children together so they should work it out and Walt should forgive her.. Finally they are making the show like The Waking Dead with lots of dramer and humen emotions. I hope there are lots of zombies in the The Walking Dead lol.

I haven't watched the ep yet, but is it a timeline thing? You know how in the first ep of this season he is 52, but in the current timeline he is still 50... maybe 51. I don't recall if he's had another birthday in the last 4 seasons.
