Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
I loved the bit with the tension. It was tense as. Oh and the suspenseful part was super suspenseful.

Jesse continues to act on impulse. It'll be interesting to see how Walt reacts.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
I couldn't understand the last bit Jesse said when confronting Saul. I can't even remember how the original ricin/ciggie scene played out.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
In the past, Walt had Saul (who in turn had the big black dude) lift the ricin from Jesse's coat, yet Walt still went along with Jesse's self-blame that he accidentally poisoned Brock himself (remember him pretending to look for the ricin cigarette with Jesse?).
And just now, Jesse realized that Saul's boy did the exact same thing with the dope stick and the pack of cigarettes. Why would Walt have pretended Jesse accidentally poisoned Brock and help him look for it if he already had Saul lift it from him?
Vise ve: Walt poisoned Brock.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
I remembered all that except the ricin ciggie being lifted by Saul.
So Jesse assumed Saul lifted the ricin but didn't have any proof.

Well, he knows Saul just had Huell lift the dope from him in exactly the same way that Huell acted before Brock was poisoned.t0mby wrote:I remembered all that except the ricin ciggie being lifted by Saul.

I see. *blink*
I'm going to have to watch the entire series again in the future. Maybe watch it with someone who hasn't seen it.

I'm waiting for the bluray box set. Should be a great end to the series.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
Another great ep. At first it felt a little slow, infact I thought it was going to end sooner than I expected, then it takes a turn at Albuquerque. Can't beleive we're already halfway through. 4 eps to go!

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
Yeah I felt that it was a pretty big episode. We've spent four years watching Team Walt and Jessie. In two episodes they've completely destroyed the relationship between Hank, Walt, Marie and Skylar. In two more episodes they've destroyed the relationship between Walt and Jessie and started toward the end game. Events seem to be unfolding slowly but in no time its all over. I'm impressed that it only took two episodes to get to this point with Walt and Jessie.

Don't forget the scene at the start of S05 as well with Walt in the diner celebrating his birthday. There is always that .

Would it be a spoiler to say that in the next episode, Lydia will learn a lesson about farm raised salmon?

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
I know Walt is panicked but him trying to calm Jessie down by screaming every incriminating murder he's performed over the phone was beyond forced. That and the ending of the episode was being telegraphed HARD. Could see that shit coming from a mile away, yet they still had the obviously final conversation between Hank and Marie.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
Yeah after everything, admitting to every murder was odd. At least they didn't play him a recording of it.
I've been of the belief for the last four episodes that Walt's final showdown is with Todd's uncle's white supremacist group. That perhaps they had Walt Jnr or Skylar as insurance. After the final scene last night Juz thought it might be Jessie that Walt has to liberate.
3 episodes left.

Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
I reckon Uncle Jack & friends will kill Hank and Gomie, snatch up Jessie to become meth cook, blame/expose/leave Walt for dead in the desert, not knowing Walt is next to his buried treasure. Then Walt can come back for his last shot at redemption of storming Uncle Jack's meth factory/stronghold with an M60 to break Jessie out. Don't know the fate of Skylar in this scenario though.
Re: Breaking Bad Screening Now!
Jesse opened his car door, he's gonna flee, but to where? The desert doesn't provide many hiding places.
Agree that Gomey got hit, but not fatal, yet.
Slight variation to the Juz theory : Uncle Jack is no dummy, he'll get to wondering why that spot in the desert. Perhaps it's Walt's money that is taken hostage by Uncle Jack and needs to be liberated via the M60.
As Jesse says it's where he "really lives"
