Oh OK, the way you said you tried to remove itunes and ipod sevices from Quicktime I thought you meant that Apple hides them somewhere in the standalone Quicktime player

Good...just uninstalled the bloatware version and reinstalled the player only.

For those who hate bloatware, here's the version of winamp I still use. v2.65
winamp v2.65
(970KB)

Very old. No bloatware. Happy to keep it forever. Sort of like how I still have some old C64 tapes stashed away that just sit there for nostalgia.
Don't see any reason to update.
