We need a movement to ban laws that restrict the ownership of guns. There are a lot of gangs recruiting new people who will eventually outnumber cops soon as more left wing pollies team up with them to do staged gun massacres (obama fast and furious scadal) on innocents in public places to scare businesss into trusting only government workers to provide security in crisis (london riots style mobs) rather than honest people using their own initiative to defend against criminals (both within government wearing uniforms as well as regular ones).

As long as only a few people have access to guns the nation is not safe. Organised criminals and dictators are going to take advantage of unarmed populations which can allow crime to be committed. I like his movies but just like oprah winfrey Jim Carey is into new age beliefs. You guys are crazy for letting the guns be taken by misguided politicians. The people are smarter than the politicians on most issues which is why people now need more security than ever. Have you noticed that these days when you go to a shopping mall there seems to be an increased level of security than in past decades? (mall cops at bus stations and patrolling the area? ) It's because of the fear of being mugged by robbers and thiefs. Old ladies can't go down the street without fear that a teenage gang will rape and beat and mug them because they are easier targets and can't fight back well physically.

With all that money spent on this heightened security, that could have instead gone towards buying yourself a gun and have concealed weapon so that if a robber attempts to take some money, (not knowing that the public can defend itself because there are not laws to prevent them from having guns) the citizen can hold the robber at gunpoint while they are commiting the crime and call the police to arrest them.

Most people who are going to commit a crime are deterred from it by the risk of getting caught in the act. If you are armed and they are armed, it gives the crime fighter a level playing field. This is why americans take pride in the right to bear arms.

Looks like the government is going to try to ban 3D printable guns. (much like drugs or trying to ban alcohol it will just go underground. The prohibiition era is over)

In the future I predict everyone will have a stash of guns ready by the time Darpa has robocops patrolling the streets. (panther robots look scary) It will be like terminator 1 when the humans must resist the machines. (by this time human cops and human soldiers will be replaced. The robot can be mass produced and work for nothing.
Hackers will have to reprogram a drone just like in the latest COD game.
This is what robots have done:
