I think that's the motivation for this push to move the Sharks - Qlders have spat the dummy and switched off from this NRL finals series so the broadcasters are keen to have another team up there to stop it happening again.

Maybe they should just relocate the whole comp to QLD but leave one club in Sydney so this never happens again.

This is pretty much true. Channel 9 are now pushing for another Brisbane team, Gyngell seems frustrated the Broncos didn't make the 8. A strong Broncos is officially healthy for the competition fellas!

I don't think it will work. There are plenty of people in Brisbane that don't support the Broncos, but if they give a damn about league then chances are they already support another team. Most that hate the broncos aren't originally from Brisbane either. It'd be better supported in Ipswich in my opinion, have an Ipswich/Toowoomba team. Rocky would support anyone but I personally don't think the area is big enough.

I don't know enough about Brisbane to know where the best spot is but there needs to be another team in SE Qld. Like you said I don't think there would be enough support further north.

when is it being played? I generally find the NSW Cup & U20s grand finals more interesting.
