CHAMPION centre Jamie Lyon wants out from the Manly Sea Eagles.

The Telegraph can reveal Lyon has agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.

He verbally agreed to the $2 million deal yesterday.

Lyon is due to meet Manly management today to seek an immediate release from the final year of his contract at Brookvale.

A Gold Coast source told the The Telegraph: “Jamie has agreed – he just needs the release from Manly."

If Lyon is allowed to go, it will ease massive salary cap pressure at the club.

Very sad news about Jon Mannah. He and Tim both seem like nice blokes and for someone so young and healthy (aside from the cancer) to pass away is just a shock. I hate reminders like that about how fragile life is... I don't do much of anything to look after my health and I'm 27 years old. So it's scary to think just how little time could be left.

Would love to see Timmy have a big year in his brothers honor. But I wouldn't be surprised if it throws him off completely.
