Where to park in Sydney CBD?

My wife and myself are staying at some hotel near paddys markets tomorrow night... We're driving up and will need to park for 24 hours.

Where is the best/cheapest place to park?

There's plenty of decent priced car parks on weekends. Just make sure you read the fine print as it's very easy to get stung.

This is my go to car park of choice. Might be a bit far from where you're staying though:

There's one on Sussex St that is $12 per day for the weekend. Little bit of a walk but it's dirt cheap.

Doesn't the hotel have parking?

Yeah I think that's the one I mentioned. Pre-pay and it's only $10 per day

nice and cheap... but it ways to arrive and leave before midnight, no mention of overnight stay

the hotel has off site parking but it's up towards $30

Any of the highways / freeways - they are car parks most of the day - and its free (excluding toll roads)

I had to get a taxi from Central station to Newport. Expensive ride...

Isn't Newport northern beaches? Ferry to Manly + bus is the best option. Driving to Manly during peak hour is terrible because the roads suck.
