Jedi's biggest failing is that it turns Han Solo into a lame pussy. That shit is unforgivable - especially when you read about the original ending to Jedi.

Watched the prequels again recently, don't ask me why, but god the CG/effects on them have aged so badly in 10 years. The original Trilogy effects still hold up after 30 years....

I watched the SE of Empire recently and didn't think it looked that bad.

What happened to these 3D versions?

They do. plus when you see the add ins from Lucas on the originals they look really bad which makes you wonder again.. why the fuck can't he just leave it alone.

After seeing Star Trek Into Darkness, I'm excited as fuck for Episode VII. JJ Abrams was just such the perfect fucking choice.

I loved the Star Trek reboots... He did such an awesome job and I know I will love Into Darkness as well... so hopefully he keeps the standard as high as what we've seen from the Trek outings.

I downloaded the original uncut versions of ANH, ESB and RotJ. ANH isn't even called ANH in the crawl. Just like it was when I first saw it in 1977. Star Wars.

Yes. Very few of the cast have their foreskin intact. It was a rough shoot. CG wasn't available at the time and many of the cast and crew used their penis for close ups of the miniature ships.

It's where puppetry of the penis came from. Puppeteers would control them behind the camera.

The original line was. "The foreskin is strong with this one" which meant someone who could manipulate their foreskin into different shapes.

Where from? I'd love to get decent copies of them but fuck that if they're ~700mb AVIs.

I settled for files that were 1.99GB for each movie. As far as I'm concerned anything is better than the doctored versions in HD.

I doubt Disney could do any more damage than Lucas has. They'll probably churn out more stuff that we hate like the prequels but there is the chance of something good too. If a director that really wanted to honour the originals got a shot at a good story and possibly some original cast members we might get lucky. I think there was less hope of anything good coming from Lucas himself.

I only ever saw Jedi at the movies in its original run. At a restaurant that played movies whilst you sat and munched pizza, omg awesome.

Then the Star Wars and Empire on VHS of them taped off tele with all the ads in between lol.

Yeah I had Jedi on VHS taped off the TV. A part of my brain still expects ads to start at certain times of the film. Uh-Oh! Razzamatazz!

I hate them. Well, maybe not hate.. just not like them as much as the TV shows and most of the original films.

However, I do think Abrams will do justice to Star Wars, because his Trek films feel far more like Star Wars as it is..

He's admitted he isn't a star trek fan and decided to go with a lighter more humorous feel. Something about it's an old franchise and if they don't make the jokes then the fans will...

He then said "I FUCKING LOVE STAR WARS BLARGLEGARBLEGARBLARGH....." and that he wants to really create a film that the fans deserve.

Disney should make a movie in the style of Pulp Fiction but use the stories from Tales from Jabbas Palace and Tales of the Bounty Hunters as some sort of baseline. Both books have a few great stories in them. Worth picking up if you can find them.

the funny thing is when you get to the end of the viedo, the first featured one on the grid shows Princess Leia.
